Founder Design Intensive

Weeklong immersive design and project activation

Design timeline: 7 days

Total deliverable timeline: 1 week

Design cost: $120K

Best for: Families preparing a primary home or vacation retreat for a full season of play — and who want every detail thoughtfully designed, organized, and ready to build before the school break.

A 7-day immersive design sprint that moves your project from ideas to action.

Anne Gillyard and the Groh team spend an intensive week with your family designing, organizing, and preparing your play spaces so your contractor can begin immediately.

By the end of the intensive, your design is finalized, your organization system is in place, and your contractor has what they need to begin work.

Most families use the intensive to focus on one primary playroom and one secondary play space, depending on scope and primary playroom size.

What Happens During the Intensive

Day 1 – Discovery & Play Audit
We spend time with your family, observe how your children play, and conduct a full play and toy audit.

Day 2–3 – Design Development
Anne develops the design concept and layout while working directly with you in the space.

Day 4 – Design Presentation & Refinement
The design is presented and refined in real time.

Day 5 – Official Design Sign Off, Toy Edit & Organization Reset
Our organizing team edits toys, creates systems, and prepares the space for the new design.

Day 6 – Contractor Handoff
Our project manager reviews the design with your contractor and confirms start dates.

Day 7 – Final Deliverables
Your build packet, procurement plan, and final design documents are delivered.

What’s Included:

 • Founder-led design week with Anne
• Full play audit and toy edit
• On-site organizing team support
• Contractor build packet
• Procurement initiated immediately
• Up to 10 hours of virtual project support to help your project cross the finish line

The goal of the intensive is simple: get your project fully in motion in a week.
